Sing to Jehovah a New Song... Psalm 96:1

Feedback

I have received so much positive feedback on my music that it cannot all be included here. Suffice to say that I am gratified by the fact that so many of the friends have found enjoyment and encouragement from my music; a few have even been introduced to the truth through it. However, there is no substitute for the Bible, the Society's publications, and the field ministry!

Please send me your feedback to gary@NewWorldSongs.com, and indicate whether or not you want your comments included on this page. If you have an e-mail address with a domain other than standard e-mail (hotmail, yahoo, etc...) please be careful what you put in the subject line - I have extensive spam filters set up to block anything remotely salesy. Thanks.

My 6 yr old boy listens every night to the CD. He sings the songs all the time, even at school. He loved hearing young ones singing. He has always been so interested in music and plays the few strings on his old guitar just about everyday. I'm going to get him a better guitar; he's more eager play and learn after this CD of yours!! Thanks to our Creator for giving you the talent and me the direction to find this wonderful tool.

Open Road is chock full of good, solid songs. The variety is a clear indication of Gary's versatility as a songwriter and a musician. The choice of having different singers throughout the project makes for a well rounded performance and keeps it interesting. The theme of the album only fortifies the importance of the lyrical content. Some of my personal favorites: Some Way (Very 'Sundays' like). Love (I dig the vibe happening here). We're Already One (Stevie Wonder would be proud). Actually, I like them all. Especially the ones with that Jason guy singing. Where did you find him? This is a sit-in-the-player-for-a-while CD for sure.

If you need some spiritual encouragement Open Road is the CD for you! It spans tunes from Jazz to pop ballads and everything in-between. Give the tracks Forever Young and Open Eyes a first listen to see the beautiful work and versatility on this CD. Truly a masterpiece that still makes me cry when I listen to it.

Eileen Williams in Mechanicsville, Virginia, said this:

Your songs have been quite a source of encouragement for me. I am a pioneer in rural Virginia and work full time on the road. There is certainly not much music that is worth listening to, and the sentiments expressed in the lyrics of your songs as well as the pure voices of your singers have brought tears of joy to my eyes more than once. I have been serving Jehovah for 33 years with a waiting attitude like that expressed in the song Raise Your Eyes, and the help we get from Jehovah and his organization keeps us going forward. I have recently suffered a great loss and the music has been such a blessing to aid in my healing process. Only Jehovah knows our heart and emotions that sometimes leave us feeling like aliens; I love how this is expressed so beautifully in Alien’s Heart. My secular job is infant/parent educator, and I especially love Half Way To Two and Don’t Look Back. Thanks to your wonderful music I can carry on with a tune in my heart.

NOTE: At Eileen and her supervisor's request, forty copies of the song Half Way To Two were sent to Three Rivers Healthy Families in Saluda, Virginia for use in their Prevent Child Abuse campaign.

My sister and I listened to the CDs while doing parking lot witnessing on Saturday morning before the book study. We were touched to the heart. My Nephew is 11 years old and loves the song Count the Clouds. We played that song about 15 times until he got it right. He doesn't like to listen to any music over and over. So when we turned it off for a little while and he said "you can keep it on," my sister and I just looked at each other and smiled. All weekend all of us couldn't stop singing about "when you need a brother a brother will do, when you need a sister a sister will do " and we just kept changing the words as the situation differed. Please thank your wife for us for buying you that guitar in the 90's.

Rick Fernandez in Phoenix, Arizona said this:

I find these CDs to be spiritually upbuilding because you have used a talent Jehovah has given you to express your appreciation for the Truth. The songs are evidence that you have joy in your heart, and this music is truly a pleasure to listen to. My children love to listen to your CDs, and sing along with them. They are amused when they hear your children singing! I recommend these CDs to any parent who is interested in finding creative ways to sound appreciation for Jehovah into their childrens' hearts.

Scott Allard in Perkasie, Pennsylvania said this:

The song material is well written - the lyrics, the subject matter, etc. You don't hear too many upbeat, encouraging songs like this often! My children love every song, and I [at 33 years old] can listen to the CD over and over. In addition to the great lyrics, the guitar work and song arrangements cover a wide variety of styles. Overall, it's a well put-together collection of songs that I would recommend to any brother or sister!

Gary Flood of Kinderhook, New York said this:

Open Road is a great collection of original, Bible based songs covering a wide variety of musical styles from folk to rock, blues, pop, etc. The songs are well crafted and the variety of vocalists makes for an attention holding album. If you yearn for music that is encouraging, positive and hope inspiring, you'll love listening to this latest one from Gary.

It's About the Kids is a great follow up to Alien's Heart - a wide variety of musical styles, tasteful lyrics and arrangements, something for all age groups to enjoy. I'm on the road a lot and I love music but the radio is often disappointing and disturbing and despite my large music library I find I'm bored easily. This album had me listening over and over, even singing along. Refreshing to hear a family that sticks with a Christian life style and makes uplifting and enjoyable music to encourage the rest of us.

Darlene Lesiuk in Edmonton, Alberta said this:

These CD's are incredible! Its About the Kids, for all ages with 23 songs! Both CD's are refreshing & I love the variety, theocratic viewpoint/attitude, expressions of emotions, empathy covering typical problems we face. Makes wonderful gifts, my friends are just as impressed with the songs as I am. I'd like to get some to give newly baptised ones. The CD's get me laughing & crying ..I really love them.

Michael Vertrees in Colorado Springs said this:

I just love the arrangements and the songs...! They are all so uplifting and nicely done... and the fact that your family is on it with you is just all so nice!

Rochelle Daffern in Tulsa, Oklahoma said this:

I just wanted to tell you how much I and my kids are enjoying the CD. My son likes Into the Ark the best. I really like When We're In Jehovah's Paradise. It is a catchy little tune that I have sung all day.

Ryland (age 6) in Peoria, Arizona said this:

It was thoughtful of you to think of me. I like the CD very much. My favorite song is about the resurrection because I can’t wait to meet my papa’s grandma.

Trena Hatfield in Summerville, Georgia said this:

Just wanted you to know that my daughter just received the It's About the Kids CD and she loves it. She is 2 1/2 years old and is already going around the house singing about meeting an elephant and why mosquitos! Thanks for something so encouraging.
